Within the structure of Travelbase we have 3 types of guides. Underneath we’ll shortly describe each type. In the next question you’ll be able to choose for which type of job(s) you would like to apply.
Hiking Guide
For our hiking trips we look for experienced guides. Before applying for this job make sure you have enough relevant experience and/or training. We expect you to have or gain a Wilderness First Aid (this can be obtained through Travelbase).
Packraft Guide
For our packraft trips we look for experienced guides. Before applying for this job make sure you have enough relevant guide experience and/or training. We expect you to have or gain a Wilderness First Aid and a at least a Wild water course – Basic River Navigation (both can be obtained through Travelbase).
Kayak Guide
For our kayak trips we look for experienced guides. Before applying for this job make sure you have enough relevant experience and/or training. We expect you to have or gain a Wilderness First Aid (can be obtained through Travelbase) and a at least a Kayak guiding certificate.
