This activity fits seamlessly into your itinerary, leaving you plenty of time to explore other iconic Scottish sites throughout the rest of your day.

Hop aboard for a morning seal-spotting adventure on Loch Carron!
Guided by a local expert and captain, you’ll set out on a one-hour boat trip to explore the area’s rich wildlife. Keep an eye out for seals, otters, and seabirds, all while enjoying spectacular views of the surrounding Scottish mountains.
This activity fits perfectly into your Scotland itinerary, leaving you plenty of time to continue exploring other highlights throughout the day.

Step into the world of the Red Deer hinds, help feed the main herd, and enjoy an unforgettable 1-hour experience. If you ever wanted to get up close to see and photograph these magnificent creatures, this is the perfect opportunity. Wander through the peaceful deer farm and enjoy a rare moment standing close to these majestic animals.
Wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear, as the ground can be muddy.
Timing: from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Important: This activity can be combined with Axe throwing and the Hairy Coo safari. However, it cannot be combined with Archery.

Hairy Coo Safari

Follow a ranger for 1 hour and meet one of Scotland’s most known inhabitants, the Hairy Heilan Coos. Once they get called they will appear to you in no time, come to the fence and pose for hundreds of photos! There’s no activity more Scottish than this one.
Wear suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear, as the ground can be muddy.
Timing: from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Important: This activity can be combined with Axe throwing and Deer feeding. However, it cannot be combined with Archery.

Axe throwing is often featured in the typical Highland Games. During 45 minutes, you will be accompanied by throwing experts who will give you tips and tricks, and guide you in your discovery of this new discipline. Seize the opportunity to feel like a warrior yourself. Test your strength and accuracy but most of all, have fun. This activity is competitive, addictive, and the perfect break after all the driving.
Participation requirements:
- Minimum age: 10 years old, under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Timing: from 12 a.m. to 12:45 a.m.
Important: This activity can be combined with the Hairy Coo safari and Deer feeding. However, it cannot be combined with Archery.

Archery is a thrilling way to step into an ancient and noble sport, all while having an absolute blast. During a bit more than 1 hour, accompanied by experienced instructors, fun games and friendly competitions, both beginners and experienced archers feel the excitement from the very first shot. The setting is breathtaking, with a wide open field, framed by the Western Cairngorms and Craigellachie Nature Reserve.
All equipment is provided, so you can simply show up, take aim, and enjoy every moment.
Participation requirements:
- Minimum age: 8 years old, under 12s must be accompanied by an adult.
- Wear a long sleeve top and waterproof jacket.
Timing: from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Important: This activity cannot be combined with other activities happening on the same day (such as Hairy Coo safari, Axe throwing and Deer feeding).

How to get there?
Your journey begins in Edinburgh.
We'll be waiting for you at the airport on the first day between 1 PM and 5 PM to pick up your car. It's best to arrive as early as possible to make the most of your first day of the road trip.
Tip: If your schedule allows, we recommend arriving a day earlier or staying longer in Edinburgh to explore everything the city has to offer.
Flights
We do not offer flights to Edinburgh (EDI).
We recommend Google Flights to compare flights.
When booking your flights, be sure that your arrival and departure times match those of your stay:
- Outbound (day 1): arrive before 4 PM to pick up your car at the airport
- Return (day 8): depart during the day (you will no longer have the car after 10 AM)

Other means of transport
It's also possible to reach Edinburgh by other means than flying:
By bus:
- An economical option that directly connects several European cities to Edinburgh.
By train:
- Not much more expensive.
- However, be careful: the Edinburgh train station is located in the city center. So, you'll need to arrange additional transport (taxi, bus, or tram) to get to Edinburgh Airport.
Vehicle pickup and return
On day 1, you can pick up the car between 1 PM and 5 PM from our car rental partner at the airport.
On day 8, you need to return the car to the same place by 10 AM at the latest.
