Our starting point is located in the coastal town in the Gulf of Cannigione. From here you have the possibility to follow three different itineraries, which will take you to discover the North of Sardinia from every angle. So let’s go! Each day you’ll have the choice to ride on your own (with your road book & GPS) or to follow our guide and enjoy the group atmosphere! Click on the routes below for more information.
The order of the routes in Sardinia is flexible. If you are riding solo, you can choose your itinerary. If you ride with the group, you decide with the rest of the group which itinerary you want to follow according to your experience and the weather.
Tucked away in green nature and overlooking the Gulf of Cannigione, Hotel Airone offers the perfect base during your trip.
The hotel is a stone’s throw from Baja Smeralda and the beautiful beaches of the Costa Smeralda. Airone offers lunch and dinner in addition to a delicious breakfast. Your breakfast is included every day.
You will sleep in comfortable rooms with a private balcony or direct access to the garden, where you can take a refreshing dip in the beautiful pool. The cozy village of Cannigione, with its many charming restaurants, is just a 10-minute drive away.
The price for The Vespa Trip Sardinia starts from € 600 per person and includes:
The fuel and parking for your Vespa (around € 40 for the whole week), the ferry to La Maddalena, lunch and dinner are not included .
*This price is calculated on two people per Vespa. More information about driving alone can be found under ‘your Vespa’.
Throughout your trip in Sardinia, you’ll have your own 125cc Vespa at your disposal. You’ll receive it the morning after your arrival, and return it on the last evening. The Vespa is yours for the whole trip, even during the evenings.
If you want to receive your Vespa earlier, or want to keep it a bit longer, you can choose the Early Pick-Up and/or the Late Drop-Off. With those options, the Vespa is yours from 2pm on your arrival day and/or you can return it at 2pm on your departure day (€ 50 per option).
Can I drive the Vespa solo?
The prices are calculated with the assumption that the Vespa is shared between 2 people. If you would like to drive solo, there is a supplement of € 130 per single driver (per person).
In order to drive our Vespas in Italy, you must have a driving license (B) or a motorbike license (A) and be 18+. The license (AM) is not valid. The passenger sitting in the back does not need to be 18 nor have a driving license. You have a European driving license? That’s perfect!
Your license isn’t for Europe? Then you’ll need to apply for an international driving license.
Never driven a Vespa or scooter before? Then we strongly recommend you to take the Start-to-Vespa class. On your arrival day, the guide will give you all the information and an initiation to get the hang of Vespa driving and to be able to drive safely in Sardinia in the Italian traffic. After this lesson, you can keep your Vespa to practice a bit more and to start exploring. This class costs €50 per person.
The designed routes for your trip in Sardinia are uploaded on a GPS, which you can easily attach to the steering wheel of your Vespa. With this GPS (+ €30) you’ll come by the most beautiful roads and arrive at the most stunning stops.
Daily breakfast is included in the price. For a lovely lunch or dinner, we always recommend some of our favorite restaurants. In the hotel, or nearby in Cannigione, the home base for your Vespa Trip, you will find many cozy restaurants and nice bars.
You are automatically insured for damage to third parties with your Vespa. For damage to your own Vespa, you have two choices. Either you choose the all-in insurance (€89 per Vespa), where the own risk is €0. If you don’t want this insurance, a deposit of €500 is required, for which you are liable.
A month before your holiday in Sardinia, you’ll receive an email where you can select one of these two options.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE
This insurance gives you the opportunity to book without worries. You’ll be able to cancel your trip to Sardinia until the day of departure and receive a full refund, provided that you can show a valid reason for doing so. You can read the conditions here.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
This travel insurance provides assistance in the event of an accident. Make sure you never travel uninsured! Residents of Europe can arrange travel insurance through us when booking.
