This is the overview of your 7-day road trip through Iceland. Our itinerary takes you to the most beautiful places of the country. The overnight stops are already predetermined, but during the day you can decide which landmarks you wish to visit and how much time you spend there.
You’ll be crossing Iceland in a Dacia Duster, a well-equipped 4x4 that can easily handle all the roads.
The car is manual and comes with a roof tent and camping gear. Everything you need for a worry-free trip is included!

During your road trip, you'll have the chance to spend each night at a beautiful campsite located in the countryside along your route, allowing you to completely unwind after an eventful day.
All the campsites are equipped with electricity and sanitary facilities, and we have already reserved a spot for you in advance, so you don't have to worry about it on site.

Put on a thermal suit along with a mask and snorkel, and dive into icy waters between the tectonic plates at the Silfra fissure in Þingvellir National Park! You will have a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes to learn more about this region of Iceland with our experienced guide.

The observation rate is 98%, and you'll sail along the coast with an experienced guide to make the most of your sea expedition. At the same time, you'll learn more about the different species of marine mammals and their habitats.

Damage waiver
An accident can happen quickly, which is why we recommend adding a damage waiver to your booking. This waiver will cost you €37 per day and ensures the vehicle while a member of your team is driving. By selecting this waiver, you won’t have to pay a deposit.
If you choose not to take the waiver, you will need to pay a deposit of €1000 before your departure, and a deductible of up to €3000 may be required in case of damages.

In your 4x4, you'll find cooking equipment. If you're in the mood to experiment with local ingredients, you can shop at various places along the way. You'll already find the supermarkets we recommend in the app.
If you really want to make things easier for yourself, you can order a foodpack from us in advance. It includes meals for your entire trip (3 meals per day per person), featuring a mix of packaged foods that only require adding water and canned ingredients.

Your trip starts in Reykjavík.
We expect you at our basecamp on the first day to pick up your car between 2pm and 6pm.
There are various options to get to the site. You can, for instance, choose to use our optional shuttle service.
We only offer flights from Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris, and Berlin to Reykjavík, so we recommend comparing the different flight options from your preferred airport via Google Flights.
Make sure you arrive at Keflavík Airport (KEF) and consider the itinerary when booking your flights.

Our base camp is located in Hafnarfjörður, about a 30-minute drive from the airport.

On day 1, you can collect the car directly from our rangers at the basecamp between 2pm and 6pm.
On day 8, you have to return the car at the same location by 10am at the latest.
